Overview

CTI has maintained a close long-term relationship with the Qantas Group over the past 15 years through provisioning and supporting mission-critical leading edge software solutions in the area of tracking and reporting on aeroplane spares and maintenance activities. This history, coupled with full-featured and highly effective functionality sets in products that are also highly scalable, reinforces our credibility and commitment to providing a reliable suite of quality software solutions that span all key operational activities.

The suite of products utilises barcode identification technology, and along with Radio Frequency enabled devices allows a mobile workforce to execute activities directly on the warehouse floor. This real-time connectivity and integrated reporting and enquiries provides up-to-the-second information about work-flows, equipment, employees and spares, while allowing management to make timely decisions that impact directly on productivity. Finally, the system's SQL-compliant database enables seamless integration with clients' ad-hoc reporting tools.

CTI currently provides the following solutions:

  • Tracking of maintenance spares through the full cycle of movement within a warehouse
  • Tracking of activities associated with maintenance and repair of assets

Roadmap

CTI continues to adopt new technologies as they emerge, but only where such developments will provide clear and affordable benefits for the clients in particular and the industry sector as a whole. At present, projects are under way in the following areas:

  • User Experience: Web/Cloud enabled versions of all solutions, for both the desktop and tablet environments
  • Voice Integration: Introduction of voice technology using speech recognition and speech synthesis to allow workers to perform warehouse activities
  • Fatigue Prediction: Incorporating the latest research into fatigue modeling to allow prediction and What-If profiling for various scenarios

Plans are also in place to augment the suite to support the following:

  • Forecasting: Introduction of functionality to allow prediction and automated order placement based on part usage histories and current stock levels
