TPAC^TM Maintenance Spares was created to ensure efficient and effective delivery of correct stock items, which have been requested by Engineering & Maintenance staff, Logistics Managers and Supervisors. It is an enhanced information service that will allow staff to schedule, action, monitor, report and adjust all ongoing ground logistics tasks, and will be used to support the full range of warehouse activities. These activities range from external pick up, receipting, inspection, binning, picking and issuing through to dispatch and delivery.

Technology

The basis of TPAC^TM Maintenance Spares involves the use of bar-coding technology, portable hand-held bar-code scanners and workstations to track the movement of goods between all nominated internal and external locations.
