CTI has a strong background in the transport industry with applications covering schedule and crew optimization, fleet management along with crew recovery. This makes the Rail sector an obvious extension for CTI to deliver software solutions suited for the industry. CTI currently provides Rail Timetabling to customers in Australia, New Zealand and Taipei.

CTI works closely with customers to continually improve our offerings. We aim to ensure that customers are fully in control of planning, operating and managing the business more effectively. We invest heavily in research and development and we continue to apply new technology to overcome challenging problems.

CTI's TPAC^TM Rail consists of the following modules:

• Rail/Table Timetable designer & modeller
• Rail/Net Railway Network Builder
• Rail/Train Train Performance Simulator

Roadmap

CTI plans to add to its suite of Rail specific products in the near future:

• Rail crew shift and rostering optimized solutions including fatigue management.
• Day of Operations management, including optimized disruption management.
• Improved Timetabling simulation.
• Manpower planning to specifically address the Rail Industry needs
• Ground crew shift and rostering capability.
• TPAC Rail Timetable Management and TPAC Rail Crew will be able to exchange data e.g geography in an easy seamless manner.
• Full optimization is to be introduced to the Day of Operations in the form of Dynamic Disruption Management.
• Improved GUI are to be introduced via new Gantt charts and Spider Charts.
• Advanced User friendly Rules engine.
